Creator rules

These Creator rules set the quality and conduct standards for everyone who sells on GameThemes. They apply worldwide to approved creators and their listings. By applying or listing products, you agree to follow them together with the Creator agreement, Payout policy, License policy, and Acceptable use rules. 1. Eligibility - You must be at least 18 years old. - You must complete the creator application with accurate personal (and, if applicable, business) details. - You may sell as an individual or as a registered business. Company registration and VAT / tax IDs must be truthful where provided. - GameThemes may request extra verification before approval or payouts. 2. Ownership and intellectual property - You must own or hold a valid license to sell everything you upload: code, design, fonts, images, icons, and third-party assets. - Do not list stolen themes, cracked packages, “nulled” products, or work taken from other creators without written permission. - Do not infringe trademarks of Tebex, game publishers, or other brands in a misleading way. GameThemes is an independent marketplace and is not affiliated with Tebex or any game studio. - If a rights holder files a valid claim, we may remove the listing and suspend related access pending review. 3. What you may sell - Tebex themes and templates for supported games (for example FiveM, Minecraft, Rust, RedM, ARK, Garry’s Mod, Unturned, and similar). - Products must be Tebex-ready and suitable for real storefront use, not empty placeholders. - Bundles must clearly list every included item. 4. Listing quality and honesty - Titles, descriptions, screenshots, and demos must accurately represent the live product. - State supported games, platforms, and known limitations clearly. - Describe what support you offer (if any), expected response times, and what is out of scope. - Explain your update policy: how often you ship fixes, and whether major redesigns are included. - Pricing must be clear. Do not hide mandatory add-ons or surprise fees after purchase. - Do not use fake sales counts, fake reviews, or misleading “limited” claims. 5. Demos, previews, and media - Live demos and screenshots should match the version buyers receive. - Do not use watermarked competitor work, stock shots that misrepresent the theme, or edited images that hide defects. - Demo stores must not collect buyer payments for the listed product outside GameThemes checkout. 6. Security and technical standards - Uploads must be free of malware, backdoors, cryptominers, credential stealers, and obfuscated harmful code. - Do not ship secrets (API keys, passwords, private credentials) inside packages. - Follow safe packaging practices. GameThemes may scan files and reject or quarantine unsafe uploads. - Broken downloads, corrupt archives, or packages that fail basic install checks must be fixed promptly. 7. Support and communication - Honor the support promise shown on your listing. - Be professional with buyers. Harassment, threats, or public shaming is not allowed. - Platform issues (payments, account access, delivery failures) should be escalated to GameThemes support when needed. - Do not ask buyers to pay you off-platform for the same product. 8. Updates, versions, and changelogs - Ship updates through GameThemes with clear version numbers and changelogs when you fix bugs or change features. - Do not deliberately break older purchases without a migration path or clear notice. - If a product becomes abandoned, update the listing so buyers know support status. 9. Pricing, fees, and payouts - Marketplace commission and processing fees follow the Creator fees and Payout policy pages. - Do not attempt to circumvent fees by steering buyers to external checkout for products listed here. - Chargebacks and payment disputes may freeze related earnings until resolved. 10. Conduct on GameThemes - Do not spam the marketplace with duplicate or near-duplicate listings. - Do not manipulate reviews, Q&A, or ratings. - Do not abuse reports, appeals, or support channels. - Keep your account details and payout identity accurate. 11. Enforcement - GameThemes may warn, request changes, unpublish products, withhold payouts related to disputed sales, suspend creator access, or permanently ban accounts that break these rules. - Serious violations (malware, fraud, repeated IP theft) may result in immediate suspension without prior notice. - Decisions are made to protect buyers and the integrity of the marketplace. You may contact support if you believe a decision was made in error. 12. Changes - We may update these Creator rules from time to time. Continued use of creator tools after updates means you accept the revised rules. - The published page at /pages/creator-rules is the current version. Questions about selling?
